Pemilik baru Tony Fernandes telah menunjukkan minat beliau terhadap pemain tengah LA Galaxy pada laman Twitter beliau dengan berkata :

'I think having someone like David [Beckham] in the club would be great. Was always in my thoughts. Let's see."

Young joins QPR

QPR have completed the signing of Aston Villa right-back Luke Young for an undisclosed fee.The 32-year-old becomes the club`s second signing since AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes completed his takeover of the club last week.

Luke Young is in talks over a possible move to Loftus Road.

Young, 31, has started in his preferred right-back position in both of Villa's Premier League games so far this season, against Fulham and Blackburn. But he has been allowed to talk to Neil Warnock's side as they seek to rebuild under new owner Tony Fernandes.

Joey Barton completes move to QPR and signs lucrative contract.

'Bad Boy' Joey Barton has joined QPR on a four-year contract from Newcastle United, the London club announced last nite.The 28-year-old was pictured on the QPR website holding the number-17 shirt that he will wear this season.
